Day 6, Nibbling Fish and Kassiopi

Right off the bat we're going to have two short videos and then just photos after that.

First up, Nick just had to go back to the nibbling fish place this morning. While he did that, I went off and window shopped. When the fish were finished with him, Nick was impressed at how smooth his feet felt.

Next up, a group of school age children came down the street singing. Who could resist filming them?

Now the photos. We took an inter-city bus (cost us only €3.90 or ~$4 each) to the small fishing village of Kassiopi whose name sounds almost the same as the constellation, Cassiopeia. It is a really pretty little town whose view across the water is that of Albania. I took photos from the bus en route to Kassiopi. They give you a sense of the topography and greenery of the northern, mountainous part of the island.

BTW, as in any mountainous area, driving on the roads takes some serious courage. Driving a bus on these narrow, twisty roads with hairpin turns requires something beyond courage. Maybe a bit of insanity.

Kassiopi's harbor. It's small!

This is the beach we chose to go to, Bataria. (No, not Bacteria! Sheesh!) There were other beaches that were similarly beautiful.

My view on Bataria.

Corfu is known to be more green, lush than other parts of Greece. It's also known for its beauty and its delicious food.
